Every GrIDD project aims to maximize economic impact on the NY State economy
For example, Center projects seek to create new jobs in NY State, develop new products
or services for industry partners, increase company revenue and enable our partners
to obtain additional funding (private or government)
If an industry partner has a NYS presence:
GrIDD cost share against company contribution is possible
GrIDD offers a reduced indirect rate of 15%
GrIDD funding source for the cash contribution is Empire State Development's Division
of Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR). Therefore, the funding can be used
only in furtherance of the project, and only on the following categories of expenditures:
salaries, fringe benefits, material and supplies
